After releasing three singles as a solo performer, Schofield’s unique musical satire comes to life with the support of guitarist Benny Lazzaro, drummer Ryan Johnson and bassist Adam Springhetti. With smooth vocals, soulful harmonies, strong acoustics and folky instrumentals, Schofield was rightly given along standing ovation at Victoria Hall in March to a sold out crowd. With her raw and relatable lyrics, a more than gentle nudge to stop taking life so seriously and a voice that can hold a room, Chloe Schofield is one to watch.
Meet Mikey Long, a Blues n’ Roots musician, singer-songwriter, producer and slide guitar aficionado. His unique blues stylings and foot stomping rhythms compliment the sensibilities of his song writing, singing travelling songs of unrequited love in the face of adversity. His debut EP, “Roots of Equality”, has recently dropped. A collection of original, roots-inspired songs produced, recorded, and distributed independently.
Helen’s songs ride the joys and sorrows of love and life and draw the listener into an articulate and heartfelt world of story, melody and guitar, through her eyes. Helen’s thoughtful observations and introverted reflections of everyday situations are beautifully captured in her music, which can best be described as contemporary folk/pop with a strong acoustic feel. The COVID 19 pandemic saw Helen return to Perth in 2020, and used the time spent in isolation to record three songs with Jon Clements at ø2 Studio in Wembley – released
