Back in the 1920s, 433 Hay St was home to EA Lums Grocery & General Store. Owned by Emily and Charles Lums, it was a place where Subiaco locals would gather to buy quality ingredients from a family-owned shop.
Brought to you by the team behind Bark Subiaco, the friendly West Aussie themed bar just 300m down the road.
In a nod to our predecessors, we’ve reimagined the premises whilst harnessing many of the original features of a building already oozing with character.
Our 120 person wine-centric small bar embraces this welcoming, community feeling coupled with an honest range of quality, artisan wines. Expect to see a funky Swan Valley Pet Nat sitting alongside a classic Italian Nebbiolo, with plenty of delicious things to sip on in between!
Food-wise, expect dishes that complement a good glass of vino - cheese and charcuterie boards, share-style tapas and light bites. The menu and space alike are designed to welcome parties of all sizes -from locals popping past for a glass of wine and a snack on the way home, to larger groups, functions and celebrations.
