Plane Tree Farm is a luxurious linen and homewares store founded by Jeni Cross. Inspired by the linens brought to Australia by her European grandparents, Jeni embarked on a global search for the finest fabrics to create beautiful sets of linen. With luxuriously fine Egyptian cotton from a manufacturer in a small town in the north of Italy, Irish linen from Northern Ireland, and a wonderful Belgian cotton waffle, Jeni produced her first set of bed linen. Gifts for friends led to her first wholesale order from a Homewares store in Perth, which quickly spread across Australia. In 1991, Plane Tree Farm’s first retail outlet was established in suburban Subiaco, and three more stores across Australia later followed. At Plane Tree Farm, there is no mass production in the workroom, and every item is individually cut and sewn by hand, with close attention to fine quality and detail. Along with luxurious bed linen, the stores stock a range of complementary items for the Bed Bath Body and Home, including luxury bath towels, Portuguese and Italian Bath Mats, European toiletries, and more.
