Our stage has been lonely and in need of some attention - can you help?! Due to COVID-19 restrictions, our heritage listed Art Deco auditorium has been lying neglected for months. With restrictions in WA starting to ease, we figured we should activate this world class performance venue for the community!
We know Perth has some exceptional talent that has been cooped up in bedrooms and backyards across the country side. We want to see those skills that have been honed in isolation over the past few months!
WED 9th September - MUSIC – Give us some tunes! Calling for musicians: covers, originals, solos, duos, instrumentalists. Max 3 songs / 14 mins per set.
WED 16th September - WORDS – We want to hear what you have to say! Calling all storytellers: we would love to hear some stories, jokes, stand up comedy, poetry, slam, prose, monologues, hip hop etc. Max 10mins per set.
WED 23rd September – PERFORM – We want to see your skills! Calling all performers, flow artists, dancers, skits and actors. We would love to see movement and performance based arts and party tricks. Anything and everything from dancing, juggling, poi, fire twirling, circus, improv, skits and mini performances! Max 14 mins per set.
WED 30th September - MUSIC – Give us something loud! Calling for musicians: bands, covers, originals, solos, duos, instrumentalists. Give us some tunes! Max 3 songs / 14 mins per set.
This is an inclusive event, please bring an open attitude and warm vibes ready to embrace and support all of the gifts our community has to offer!
Our licensed Attic Bar will be serving up some tasty beverages so you can sit back and enjoy something we all craved over COVID – live performance! This is a free community event presented by SubiAction and supported by the City of Subiaco. Doors open at 6:30pm, performances from 7pm.
