A Fun & Festive Night Out In Subi: Check Out The Subiaco Christmas Windows
‘Twas the month before Christmas, and all over Subi, amazing artists were busy, making windows of beauty!
You’re probably familiar with “A Visit From St Nicholas” by Clement Clarke Moore (the poem that starts off with ‘Twas the night before Christmas’), but did you know that this year it’s taking over Subiaco in the lead up to Christmas? Six amazing WA artists have transformed four locations in the Subiaco town centre into scenes from this beloved Christmas classic and you can see it now until 6 January.
Created in a colourful array of styles and designs, these fantastic displays are set to add an extra element of Christmas cheer to downtown Subiaco. They’re also the perfect excuse for a merry and bright outing that they whole family can enjoy. What could be better than rounding up the whole clan, wandering around town to check out the Christmas windows and stopping off for some delicious treats as you go?
You could also sneak in a bit of last minute Christmas shopping while you’re at it!
to find out more about the artists and the location of Subiaco’s Christmas Windows. You can even download a map to help plan out your route!
We’ve put together the below list of family friendly venues to stop off at along the way.
Who doesn’t love a good burger, right? In addition to a range that’s guaranteed to keep the parents happy, Grill’d also have a good choice of kids burgers and a lovely alfresco eating section perfect for warm summer evenings.
If you haven’t been to Whisk then you’ve been missing out on one of Perth’s best dessert experiences. Your kids will think Christmas has come early when they get a look at their epic ice-cream creations. We recommend their Christmas Tree Gelato, featuring a red velvet waffle cone, strawberry sauce, matcha gelato and festive sprinkles. Yum!
Serving up some of the most delicious frozen yoghurt that you’re ever likely to come across, Little Cultures is perfect for parents looking for that cooling treat that’s wholesome and healthy.
Located right in the heart of the action on Rokeby Road, Funtastico’s fun spin on Italian food and great kids menu is guaranteed to put a big smile on everyone’s face regardless of their age.
