Secrets of 6008: KIM KNIGHT

Article Article

KIM KNIGHT

From smiley usherette to babysitting for Billy Connolly, General Manager of the Regal Theatre Kim Knight has done everything and anything it takes to maintain the majesty of this iconic Subi institution.

A family affair since her parents assumed management in 1977, this grand dame of live entertainment has been the pulse behind the curtain for nearly four decades, playing host to everyone from Paul McCartney to Dame Edna. Kim’s cascade of auburn hair, furry sidekick Pepper and good-natured giggle bring the plush tonal maroons of the Regal’s recent-ish art-deco update come alive.
