One of the newest kids on the block in Subi, Your Local has quickly won over, well, locals with its epic selection of adult beverages, brilliant service and delicious meals. It's nearly impossible to go wrong when having a clock-off drink at Your Local, with their expansive drinks menu catering to all tastes.
Cherubino's City Celllar
Renowned for its vast selection of delicious red, white and sparkling wines, this Subiaco mainstay offers a more sophisticated after-work experience. You can nosh on some delicious cheese and antipasto while enjoying a much deserved Margaret River vintage after a long day, and take home a bottle to enjoy with dinner.
The Subiaco Hotel
This iconic institution it alwaysl a solid option for a few post work beverages with the crew. Big enough to comfortably seat everyone that wants to join in, make sure you get there for their $5 happy hour drinks specials that start at 5:30 on weekdays. We’re also big fans of their wedges with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce - so retro and so delish!
Refuge Small Bar
Prefer your bars small, your atmosphere intimate and your drinks crafty? Nestled right next to the train station, Refuge Small Bar brings a bit of hipster small bar cool into the heart of Subi. Choose from a wine, cocktail or one of the 12 craft beers on tap and peruse their great bar food menu if you’re feeling a bit peckish.
Recently taken over by the folks from Bivouac, this idiosyncratic local bar/eatery has been given a fresh feel and a great new menu. Serving fantastic drinks alongside an impressive selection of upmarket bar food - think house-made terrines, salumi, corned-beef toasties and melt-in-your-mouth duck liver parfait - Juanita’s is the perfect location if you’re in the mood for something a little more stylish when knock-off time rolls around.
The Village Bar
Another participant in the recent “beer wars”, you can score yourself a glass of wine or pint of frosty cold beer at the Village Bar for a mere $4. They also have a good roster of weeknight specials including a quiz & $10 cheeseburger night on Tuesdays and a spicy wings competition on Thursdays, so there’s plenty of great value on offer to keep you and the work crowd entertained, fed and watered.
