5 things to do this long weekend in Subiaco
WA Day falls on Monday 3 June and marks the last public holiday until the end of September! But WA Day isn’t like any other public holiday as most places will be open all weekend and there’s plenty of things happening around town. So we’ve rounded up our top picks to make most of this last long weekend we will have for a while.
Enjoy Live Music
Start the weekend vibes early with Friday after work drinks at Bistro Felix. They will have live music from the Melting Beats Duo from 5:30pm and in addition to this, Bistro Felix has a bunch of tempting specials on offer such as half price oysters, $9 Aperol Spritz, selected wines from $7 and loads more. It’s a relaxing and fun way to ease into the long weekend.

Catch a Show
Subiaco is home to both the Regal Theatre and the Subiaco Arts Centre, both of which have some amazing shows on during the long weekend, so why not head into Subi for a show? At the Regal Theatre, you’ll find The Ten Tenors
performing ‘Love is in the Air
’ a heart-warming collection of the most popular love songs of all time. Expect songs like "All You Need Is love", "Money Can’t Buy Me Love", and "How Deep Is Your Love" to name a few.
Over at the Subiaco Arts Centre, ‘The Lady of Ro
’ theatre production will captivate audiences with its story of heartbreak, grief and courage as Lady of Ro becomes one of Greece's best loved icons. Funnily enough, there’s a restaurant in Subi with the same name, so we recommend pairing this show with dinner at the nearby Lady of Ro
