Keep your gin up in Subi
If you’re a gin lover like us, you probably celebrated World Gin Day last Saturday 8 June but let's not stop there, continue the celebrations all through the week and beyond! Head over to these bars and restaurants around town to sip on a great gin cocktail or order your favourite G&T combination.
5/50 Subiaco Square, Subiaco
The Cocktail of the Week
at Refuge Small Bar is none other than, Four Pillars Rare Gin & Tonic. It is created with one of Four Pillars’ best gins and topped with a dry tonic, a slice of fresh orange and a sprig of rosemary. Alternatively a nice Negroni made with Old Youngs Gin always goes down a treat.
210 Nicholson Road, Subiaco
Due to popular demand, the legends at the Unicorn Bar have recently expanded their beverage list to include a great range of gins. So if you’re looking for a London Dry style gin or a fragrant spirit filled with botanicals or even a blushing pink gin, the Unicorn Bar has got you covered.
465 Hay St, Subiaco
This iconic venue has over 10 different types of gins on offer and on Saturday nights from 8pm cocktails are only $10 in the Café Bar. We’ve got our eye on the Killa Vanilla Gin Cocktail, a fusion of Tanqueray Gin, Licor 43 Vanilla Liqueur shaken with lemon and served low over ice with a pepper sprinkle. We think this is a great way to spend an evening.
10/531 Hay St, Subiaco
Each Friday and Saturday nights, the Village Bar does bottomless G&T's from 7pm – 9pm. For just $40 per person, sample a range of gins with matching tonic and your favourite garnishes over a delicious grazing board to share. Settle in by the fireplace and enjoy!
118-120 Rokeby Rd, Subiaco
Book a table at your favourite French bistro and indulge in delicious cuisine while also enjoying some amazing gin cocktails. We recommend the Moulin Rouge, a sassy combination of gin, Lillet Rouge, cloudy apple and cranberry. It goes perfectly with the chicken liver parfait.
