There’s plenty to celebrate this festive season in Subiaco - here are just a few of the events (often free) which the whole family can enjoy from late November onwards.

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree

Subiaco’s beloved 13m Christmas tree featuring a walk-through light tunnel is back! Plus, there will be a new light installation guaranteed to sparkle and delight. See an origami Festive Fox just outside the Post Office, the perfect photo stop on your way to post Santa letters.

Merry Moments

Each Friday from 26 November to 17 December, head to Forrest Walk to see a variety of merry moments and festive activities for all ages. Activations include:
•    Santa and elf visit, Christmas carols and entertainment
•    Ice carving, snow machine and carolling
•    Live art mural and acoustic music
•    Freedom faeries school holiday activities for kids

When: Fridays from 26 November – 17 December, various times.
Cost: Free

Wreath Making Workshop (A See Subiaco exclusive)

Fox & Rabbit are hosting an exclusive wreath making workshop at Table Culture on Thursday 2 December. Create your very own Christmas wreath from Australian native flowers while also learning floral tips and tricks from the experts. All flowers and materials are included plus bubbles and light refreshments.  When you’ve finished your fabulous wreath, enjoy a little late night shopping as Table Culture will be putting on exclusive offers for guests.
The workshop is designed for people of all skills from beginners to intermediate.
Numbers are strictly limited, book early to avoid disappointment.

When: Thursday 2 December, from 6:30pm

Join us for the opening concert at Lake Jualbup on Sunday 19 December. A special treat to kick-start the festive season featuring The Australian Girls’ Choir and The Joi Ride band. The extraordinary voices of The Australian Girls’ Choir will open the concert with beautiful renditions of traditional carols and other Christmas songs. Following a guest appearance from Santa, Zalia Joi will lead the Joi Ride Band with some fun, festive favourites. 

When: Sunday 19 December, 5pm – 7pm
