The Subiaco Street Party
will be back on the 6th of April from 2pm to 9pm and is set to bring downtown Subi alive with a whole host of amazing food, drink, arts and entertainment.
Centred on the vibrant hub that is Rokeby Road, this year the event will stretch further than ever before! This means that there is going to be a huge amount of fabulous attractions to experience.
The theme for this year’s festival is “Around the World” and will feature four key zones complete with on-theme live entertainment, roving performers and food options.
With a whole world of awesomeness on offer, here’s what you can expect at this year’s Subiaco Street Festival.
The Asia & The Orient Zone
Bringing all the colour and excitement of the Asian continent to Subiaco, the Asia & The Orient zone will feature some incredible Asian cuisine along with captivating entertainment like Bollywood dancing, Chinese drumming, Lion Dance, Indonesian percussion performances and lots more! In addition to a fabulous array of dumplings and ramen, of course.
The Down Under Zone
A celebration of all the things that make Australia so amazing, the Down Under zone will feature Nyoongar singers, roving comedy and a cool mash-up of old school Aussie rock music.
Enjoy the afternoon with the kids in our giant sand pit and a cheeky brewski at the outdoor beer garden.
The Mediterranean Zone
With Italian opera singers, Spanish guitar performances and Israeli vocalists, the Mediterranean Zone is set to be one of the most diverse and engaging parts of the entire festival.
This part of the world is also renowned for its delicious dishes, so you just know that there is going to be loads of mouth watering tapas on offer!
Don’t forget to head to Lulu La Delizia’s Italian Spritz Bar for a refreshing cocktail.
The Americas Zone
Stretching from the north of Canada all the way to the tierra del fuego in southern Chile, the Americas is a vast, diverse and intriguing region.
The Americans Zone is set to bring some of that vibrance to Subi in the form of amazing street food, Latin dancers, samba drummers and smooth New Orleans style jazz performances. Enjoy it from the comforts of the super-cool Cuban inspired pop-up bar.
Professional Photos With Your Pets
One of the best things about the Subiaco Street Party is that it is a totally pet friendly event! And this year, we’re combining forces with charity partners Dogs Refuge Home of WA and Cat Haven WA. They’ll both have stalls at the event too, so even if you don’t have a pet of your own you can still get a cuddle from a cute kitten and get more information about potentially adopting a new family member.
For those that do have four-legged friends, our See Subiaco pop-up pet photobooth
will give you the chance to take a professional photo with your fur babies. You’ll also get a pet collar to take home as a souvenir of the event. How cool is that?!
