Make your own fit and cinch your waist with Paper Bag Waist skirt design! Create a casual look with bright T-shirt and sneakers or style up for perfect office-friendly or night-out glam!

Variety of colours cotton fabric and threads all provided for workshop! At the end of the class everyone will get a skirt to take it home and finish style up for your preferred look.
This class is for beginners who loves sewing or wishes to learn and would like to dive into the magic world of handmade and sustainable wardrobe. We offer this workshop for adults or kids age from 10 years old and up.
Making Paperbag waist skirt will be covering:
- Calculating your own fit pattern and fabric consumption for project.
- Cutting fabric ready for sewing
- Threading and setting up sewing machine for beginners
- Basic Sewing machine stitching
- Fabric pressing and steaming
Workshop includes all material needed to complete your skirt. Which includes: variety of cotton fabrics to choose from, wide elastic tape, threads. Sewing machines and all tools to use are also provided. Colour selection for your skirt needs to be arranged before workshop.
3-3,5 hours Workshop in small group (max 4 - 5 participants) price $148 super early bird tickets, $170 early bird ticket and $192 general tickets including all materials; Booking is essential. Workshop held at my sewing studio in Subiaco at 113 Rokeby Road, Entry via Side Lane next to Subiaco Bookshop, Upper Floor.
I do have Current Working with children Check.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Suitable for adults or kids. Minimum age for this workshop is 10 yo. But if you have a younger child who loves sewing and has an appetite to learn, message us to inquire regarding a spot for younger child.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Subiaco Train Station within walking distance. Plenty of parking around. Parking with 1st hour free just on parallel street behind our building on Rowland Street.
What can I bring into the event?

All material and tools required will be provided.
