15-Year-old Mitch is an exciting and exceptionally raw and hardworking multi-instrumental talent. With a sound massively inspired by Tash Sultana and Kevin Parker, Mitch Santiago has developed a uniquely bold, low fi and introspective signature style across hundreds of performances from the streets to the late-night haze of Perth's best known live music venues. Mitch's Falling EP is a milestone solo work where, inspired by his major influences before him like Tash Saltana, Mitch writes, arranges, produces and performs all vocal and instrument tracks.
From the lockdowns of COVID-19, the boys of DICE emerged...
The high school mates began jamming in their share-house garage with a rusted old drum kit from a time long before them and whatever other musical gear they could gather up. Their sound can only be described as that feeling of the first day of summer: sunny, memorable, and good vibes only. Growing up on Classic and Modern Aussie Rock; the boys have found a perfect recipe for a unique sound – taking influences from INXS, Spacey Jane, Sticky Fingers and The Stems. The combination of classic surf rock ‘n’ roll guitar is combined with smooth, buttery vocals have the crowd singing along at gigs all across Perth. After a successful start to 2021, including headlining the West Australian Music (WAM) Scarborough Beach Party at El Grotto; the boys of DICE have spent some time in the studio with Sam Ford (Tone City Recording Studio) recording their previous single ‘Roll the Dice’ and now their fourth single ‘Cherry’, a heart wrenching ballad exploring the themes heartbreak and uncertainty in a relationship. So kick off your shoes and have a boogie to the new age of Surf Rock, DICE.
