Dr Richard Murphy is a gynaecologist and obstetrician based in Perth who enjoys establishing connections with individuals, families and couples, and helping them navigate the journey of building their families. He has extensive experience in providing a wide range of care, including preconception counselling, infertility treatment, management of recurrent miscarriage, pregnancy loss, and obstetric care for both low and high-risk pregnancies.
Dr Murphy’s gynaecological interests overlap with his obstetric work, which involves infertility treatments and investigations, and gynaecological surgery to enhance fertility. In addition to this, he provides general gynaecology services such as colposcopy, management of heavy or painful periods, and menopause. However, he does not perform hysterectomies and will refer patients to a colleague if necessary.
