Formed in 2009 with the goal of sharing the positivity, joy and inclusivity of cabaret and burlesque with Perth audiences, students and corporate clients, Lady Velvet Cabaret has been thriving in Subiaco ever since. With a studio at The WA Performance School, providing a range of exciting dance, burlesque, musical theatre, fitness and acrobatics classes for adults of all ages, genders, shapes and sizes, classes and even one-day workshops or short courses are available throughout the year.
Lady Velvet Cabaret are also known for their high-energy, raucous and exciting burlesque showcases. With a cast of talented and diverse performers, who have toured not only WA but internationally too, LVC’s regular productions and Fringe World shows are legendary! LVC artists have won titles including Miss Burlesque WA, Miss Burlesque Australia finalist, Fringe World People’s Choice Awards, and performed overseas including at Moulin Rouge, the Bordeaux Burlesque Festival, London Burlesque Festival, and more. In addition, LVC’s founder and director has won multiple awards for women in business including the Optus Australian Businesswoman of the Year 2016.
Each weekend Lady Velvet Cabaret also provides exciting hens party packages at a range of venues, including private homes, as well as polished and professional corporate entertainment solutions. From roving entertainers, to floorshows to full-scale cabaret productions, LVC adds sparkle to events of all styles and sizes.
