An exhibition from Douglas Powell of Duzi Objects, Home Steel Home, is coming to Cleo Collects this June.
Hosted upstairs at Cleo’s Koort Gallery, this exhibition offers an exciting glimpse at Powell’s latest whimsical steel creations in his first solo showing.
With a keen eye for detail and a deep interest in exploring the possibilities of steel as a medium, Powell’s work captivates viewers with its dynamic forms and intriguing interplay of light and shadow. Home Steel Home centres around the everyday objects you find in your home. Powell challenges our perception of static objects and encourages the audience to see the inherent fluidity and energy that can be captured within steel.
