Why We Adore the Iconic Subiaco Farmers Markets

What makes the Subiaco Farmers Markets so great?

We love them because they allow us the ability to take some time out of our busy lives to take it slow and appreciate the simple things in life. Great food, amazing produce, quality time with friends and family – there’s no better place to enjoy these things than at Subiaco Primary School on a Saturday morning.

“But what exactly makes the Subi Farmer’s markets so great?”, we hear you ask.

It’s An Independent Not-For-Profit Community Organisation

There’s a lot more to the Subi Farmers Market than just picking up some great quality fruit & veg.

As an independently run not-for-profit organisation it has a whole host of positive goals and missions that benefit the entire community, so you can rest assured that any money spent there is going to a great cause. These include:

  • Supporting and stimulating profitable trading & the growth of independent primary producers using ethical & sustainable agricultural methods.
  • Contributing  to the vibrant community of Subiaco in a positive way by providing  a meeting place & creating a cohesive community spirit and a positive social experience.
  • Supporting Subiaco Primary School on an ongoing  and sustainable basis.
