Piazza in the Park
One of the most anticipated events on the Subi Spritz program is Piazza in the Park on Saturday 11 March at Theatre Gardens.
The Piazza in the Park will feature an array of exciting activities, including a storytime near the magnificent Billie Bob sculpture. Get lost in a good book while enjoying the beautiful surroundings and the sparkling atmosphere of Subi Spritz and a fantastic opportunity to create beautiful memories with your little ones.
If you’re feeling peckish, you’ll be spoilt for choice with the various food trucks offering a range of delicious cuisines.
For those looking for a little friendly competition, why not try your hand at pétanque? This classic French game is always a hit with the crowds, and you’re sure to have a blast playing it. There will also be kid’s face painting, allowing the little ones to let their imaginations run wild and transform into their favourite characters.

The Aperitivo Trail
Subi Spritz is bringing Italy’s favourite aperitif, Aperol, to Subiaco’s premium small bars for the Aperitivo Trail. The trail features a collection of exclusive cocktails that celebrate this age-old Italian tradition. Participating bars such as La Condesa, Little Things, and El Peruvian Food Co offer an array of spritz specials, each with their unique twist. From the Peachy Spritz at La Condesa to the Lychee Hugo at Shui Subiaco, there is a wide range of flavours to sample.
The Aperitivo Trail, running for the duration of the entire festival, is perfect for those who want to explore Subiaco while indulging in delicious cocktails. Join the festivities and paint the town orange with a stop at one of these participating bars.

Juanita’s x King Somm
Join us at the ultimate Subi Spritz closing party, Juanita’s x King Somm, on Sunday 19 March from 3pm, for an evening of wine and food pairing at the popular Juanita’s bar on Rokeby Road. Rub shoulders with some of Perth’s top sommeliers and chefs and indulge in tastings while learning about different varietals and regions. Best of all, this is a free entry event, so gather your wine-loving friends and cap off Subi Spritz 2023 in style.
King Somm of Bayswater will be popping up behind the bar, bringing out their favourite European drops to match with a selection of delicious bites from Juanita’s. The atmosphere will be electric with a DJ spinning tunes from afternoon to evening, ensuring your Southern European getaway continues until the very end.
