Yiamas

Get ready to be transported to the Mediterranean!

Housed in the iconic space that George’s Meze previously occupied, Yiamas is ready to impress diners with its unique take on Greek cuisine. The team behind Vinotto in Swanbourne and Community Coffee Co in Subiaco is at the helm of this venture, promising to deliver the wood-fired flavours of ancient Greece to your table!

Not only does it look pretty spectacular, think modern Greece with beautiful white stone and olive trees in the courtyard, the restaurant’s name, Yiamas, is Greek for “cheers,” and the venue’s ambience is perfect for a celebratory meal.

Diners can expect a selection of plates perfect for pairing with cocktails. The menu includes Greek favourites like coal-smoked Greek olives with confit garlic and chilli, hummus with spit-roasted meat and spiced chickpeas, and fried halloumi with eggplant, marjoram, and honey.

For mains, the team is cooking up Corfu-style charred mullet with garlic, tomato, rosemary, skordalia, and free-range grilled chicken and lemon with daily ‘meat from the grill’ specials available.

Even Zeus himself would be impressed.
