Gin lovers are invited to join Spirit of Little Things’ Gin Masterclass event. This hands-on experience takes participants through the intricate process of distilling small-batch artisan gins, including maceration, straining, base gins, refinement and bottling, and trains their palates to pick out the complex flavours of different botanicals.
During the masterclass, participants will taste five of Spirit of Little Things’ hand-crafted gins, including Australian Botanical, Australian Dry, Navy Strength, Signature, and the current seasonal Tempranillo. The tastings will be supplemented with tonic and garnishes and platters of local, gourmet food will be served to complement the experience.
At the session’s end, participants will be able to recreate many of the cocktails offered at the distillery and use the knowledge gained from the masterclass to conceptualise their unique signature cocktail.
The masterclass runs Thursdays and Saturdays.
