Subi Night Market Returns for Its Biggest European-Inspired Season Yet

Passport? Not needed. Long-haul flight? Cancelled. The sights, sounds and flavours of a European summer are returning to Subiaco as Subi Night Market transforms Market Square Park into Perth’s favourite Saturday night destination from 5 September 2026 to 8 May 2027.

After welcoming more than 130,000 visitors last season, the beloved market is back for its biggest and most exciting season yet, bringing eight months of incredible food, live entertainment, community connection and unforgettable nights under the stars.

Whether you’re settling in at a Parisian-style table, spreading out a picnic rug or wandering between stalls with a cocktail in hand, Subi Night Market is your weekly European escape.

Meet the Six New Vendors Joining the Line-Up

Food lovers, prepare yourselves. This season introduces six exciting new traders serving up flavours from around the globe.

Cha Pang

Bringing Bangkok street food to Subiaco, Cha Pang is WA’s only dedicated Thai pancake roll specialist. Watch them made fresh to order and choose from sweet and savoury fillings, from smooth custard cream to rich umami-packed soy.

Celtic Cravings

Perth’s only Irish-inspired food trailer is serving comfort food favourites rarely seen outside Ireland, including spice bags, chicken fillet rolls and curry cheese chips.

Piadina Nonna Pina

A true market first, this Italian favourite hand-chars traditional Romagna-style flatbreads filled with premium ingredients like Prosciutto di Parma, hand-stretched mozzarella, slow-cooked osso buco and braised beef cheeks.

MatchérieXO

Calling all matcha fans. Enjoy hand-whisked Japanese matcha and hojicha crafted with care at this specialty tea bar.

Emotional Support Cookies

Sometimes we all need a little emotional support. Luckily, these loaded cookies come packed with molten centres and serious comfort-food energy.

The Clean Canteen

Serving a menu that’s entirely gluten-free, vegan and refined-sugar-free, The Clean Canteen offers refreshing açai bowls and real fruit ice cream perfect for warm evenings.

They’ll join returning crowd favourites including Tings, Taco Daddy, Pasta e Fagioli and Banana Leaf Filipino Cuisine, as part of a huge line-up featuring more than 40 food stalls and 20 artisan traders.

More Than a Market

While the food is always a highlight, this season delivers even more reasons to stay all night.

For the first time, WAAPA is partnering with Subi Night Market to bring weekly live music and roving performances from talented students to the market stage.

Visitors can also look forward to:

  • Free outdoor movie nights
  • A special Halloween celebration
  • Exclusive Perth International Jazz Festival performances
  • Free dance classes in the rotunda
  • Giant chess stations
  • Live entertainment throughout the season

Adding to the European-inspired atmosphere, local distillery Spirit of Little Things returns with botanical cocktails and locally crafted pours.

And if you’ve ever wanted to turn your neighbourhood into the hottest table in town, Meet Your Street is back, giving locals the chance to reserve a long table under the market lights for their street crew.

City of Subiaco Mayor David McMullen says the market continues to be one of the City’s signature events.

“After welcoming more than 130,000 visitors last season, the market will be back with even more to discover,” he said. “Six new vendors and our first partnership with WAAPA make this the most exciting season yet.”

We couldn’t agree more. Plus, with Subiaco Train Station right around the corner, it’s easy to get there by train, bus, bike or on foot. So gather your friends, bring the family and prepare to make Saturday your favourite night of the week. The food is sizzling, the lights are glowing and the European summer vibes are waiting.
