Sound One is a family-run business operating for 30 years under the same owner. The store was initially located in the Hay St mall in 1971 and is currently situated on Rokeby Road. Sound One specialises in sourcing hard-to-find titles on CD, DVD, and vinyl records. The store carries many T-shirts and accessories, including headphones, speakers, cables, record cleaning kits, record stylus, phone charging cables, and portable power banks. Audio Technica and Rega turntables are also available in-store. Sound One stock over 10,000 new and used records at any given time. Sound One also offers CD and record cleaning services.
