Everyone’s favourite local comedy festival WA Comedy Week is back this August.
WA Comedy Week will celebrate its fifth year in 2026, returning to Subiaco from Tuesday 4 August to Sunday 9 August with a stacked program of events. The first release features 10 comedy shows presented across five iconic venues, showcasing some of Western Australia’s best established and emerging comedians.
Presented by See Subiaco and produced by WA Comedy, the festival features a diverse program of gala shows, special events and unique comedy experiences celebrating the depth and diversity of Western Australia’s thriving comedy scene. With a focus on homegrown talent, there’s no other comedy festival in the state quite like it.
From intimate comedy rooms and themed showcases to rooftop performances and one-of-a-kind comedy experiences, WA Comedy Week gives audiences an opportunity to discover outstanding local comedy whilst enjoying some of Subiaco’s best bars, restaurants and hospitality venues (think cult-favourite BARK, newcomer McNally’s, rooftop icon Storehouse and more).
